Here are five pivotal truths every leader, whether a CIO, CISO, or board member needs to grasp as AI reshapes the cybersecurity landscape.
1. AI Hackers Aren’t Just Faster, They’re Smarter
Speed is a superpower in cyber offense. Now, thanks to AI, attackers are not only quick, they’re cunning, too. Imagine malware that can learn its victim’s quirks, pivoting strategy mid-attack based on system responses. These adaptive threats don’t just exploit a flaw once, they explore, retool, and strike silently, making one-size-fits-all defenses obsolete.
2. Defensive AI Needs Explainability, Not Mystery
Deploying machine learning models to detect threats is powerful, but when detection flags, teams need clarity, not confusion.
